Fasting in the Bible is a time of spiritual preparation and alignment. As we begin this new year, we want to prepare ourselves for all that God has in store for us. This preparation is accomplished through prayer and fasting.
Through fasting, we empty ourselves by denying ourselves. Through prayer and meditating on God's word, we fill ourselves with something better. At its core, fasting leads us to a place of hungering and thirsting for God.
As we fast and pray together, let us believe for a fresh renewal of God's favor, wisdom, and power.

Prayer meetings are hosted daily at Christ Church of Orlando:
- Monday morning at 7 am
- Tuesday morning at 7 am
- Wednesday night at 7 pm
- Thursday morning at 7 am
- Friday morning at 7 am
- Saturday morning at 10 am
- Sunday morning at 8 am
*There will be no Wednesday morning prayer service.
