Youth

Identity Student Ministries' Connection Groups are called C-GROUPS.

What are C-Groups?
C-Groups are Identity Student Ministries' Connection Groups. This is a perfect opportunity for teens to connect with God and to also connect with other students.

When do we have C-Groups?
Once a month. On C-Group Wednesdays we start our youth service just like we always do; with Praise and Worship, Icebreakers and a short message from Pastor J, but then we breakout into groups according to grades. Once the C-Groups start our youth leaders take over and we dig a little deeper into the topic Pastor J spoke on. This is an awesome chance for the students to open up to their peers and really begin to build some relationships with the other students and leaders.

When do C-Groups end on Wednesday night?
Because Pastor J's messages are shorter on C-Group nights it allows the C-Group leaders to take their time with the students in their group and it also makes it possible to end at the time we always strive for; 8:30pm.

Why do we separate the students according to grade?
This helps us change and adapt our C-Group material to be age specific. By putting the students in their own grade demographic this helps keep conversation all on the same level. We believe this will also helps the students build tight relationships with those that are close in age.
